About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Development Support Analyst to join our expanding Development Support team based in Newcastle. As a key member of our MGS IT Development Team, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support on issues raised via the technical helpdesk, engaging with both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor M Group applications to ensure daily processing is successful.
  • Maintain the current M Group application suite using C#.NET, Oracle, Linux, and Unix.
  • Investigate problems and provide solutions, often collaborating with the wider Development DBA and Solution Architecture teams.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate good knowledge of C#.NET and SQL (preferably Oracle).
  • Professional, motivated, and driven individual with a strong sense of pride taken in their work.
  • Have a good attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus skills, and be able to articulate solutions appropriate to the audience.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills and provide solutions.
  • Experience supporting multiple applications.
  • A willingness to learn new and develop already existing technology and skills.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement process in regard to the team, self, processes, and systems.

Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 per annum, plus benefits.
