About the Role

We Are With You is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding practice across our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our service users.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our safeguarding team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Work closely with our operations leadership team to ensure seamless integration of safeguarding practices across all services.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure our safeguarding practices are effective and meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Social Worker with registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles within safeguarding services, ideally within the substance misuse arena.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address safeguarding concerns.
