About the Role

We Are With You is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Safeguarding Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding practice across our services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff on safeguarding matters
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure effective safeguarding practices
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker with a strong background in safeguarding and substance misuse. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Fully qualified Social Worker with registration with Social Work England
  • Proven experience in safeguarding and substance misuse
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
