Manager of People Analytics

Position Summary
This role presents a unique opportunity within the Bank's People Directorate, contributing to a significant strategic transformation initiative aimed at enhancing the modern and professional delivery of the Bank's central services. We are in search of a skilled and knowledgeable People Insights Manager to spearhead the development of our Data & Insights capability, aligning with the evolution of our People Strategy & Insights division. This position is crucial in empowering the People Directorate and the Bank to effectively formulate and implement its people strategy.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for establishing a function that leverages data and analytics. This function will be instrumental in guiding strategic decisions concerning various people-related factors, including talent acquisition, retention, engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion, rewards, and professional development. The role provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, generating data-driven insights to refine our People processes and ultimately advance our organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. **Establishing People Data Capability**:
- Direct the formation of the new People Insights function, creating a comprehensive understanding of workforce strengths and the effectiveness of our employee value proposition (EVP) through both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Champion the integration of the Bank's data strategy concerning people data.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of people data from diverse sources, ensuring robust controls are implemented.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
- Prepare and present regular reports to leadership and stakeholders, showcasing key trends and challenges.
- Guide the establishment of the People Insights function, ensuring effective communication and support mechanisms are in place for seamless transitions.
- Develop and execute change management strategies that cater to the needs of various stakeholders, fostering engagement across the organization.
- Lead the design and implementation of the People Insights Dashboard, serving as the primary tool for insights delivery.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure the dashboard meets stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration of the dashboard with existing systems for a holistic view of people data.
- Establish statistical techniques and predictive models to forecast workforce trends and identify potential risks.
- Work with People Strategy Partners to anticipate talent needs and devise workforce planning strategies.
- Drive efforts to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and automation to improve the efficiency of the People Insights function.
- Collaborate with People Strategy Partners to align insights with strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on people data matters.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and ensure alignment on strategic objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in managing change within a large, complex organization.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of creative problem-solving.
- Experience in building and leading effective teams.
- Strong understanding of people analytics or workforce planning.
- Experience in managing projects and workstreams effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive data.
- Knowledge of compliance and governance regarding sensitive people data.
- Experience in professional HR settings.
- Specialist knowledge in establishing and managing analytics functions.
- Relevant professional qualifications in HR or data analytics.
- Experience in both private and public sectors.
