Adult Community Specialist Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Adult Community Specialist Psychiatrist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to patients in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with complex mental health needs, providing evidence-based treatment and care.
- Work closely with primary care teams, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' unique needs and circumstances.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of new initiatives and projects.
- Eligible for full registration with the GMC and Section approval under the Mental Health Act 1983.
- Experience in adult psychiatry, with a strong understanding of community mental health care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Valid UK driving license or alternative transportation arrangements.
