We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical leadership to our adult mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultant input and responsible clinician duties for inpatients on our adult mental health wards.
- Ensure excellence in the provision of mental health assessments and evidence-based treatments to all referred patients.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in community and inpatient settings to ensure timely care and transfer of patients as necessary.
- Liaise with primary care services to discuss patients' physical health, mental health, and social care needs.
- Help coordinate further support and/or management between different services as patients' needs dictate.
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with the following qualifications and experience:
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Registration with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register.
Desirable qualifications include a postgraduate degree in psychiatry, MRC Psych, or equivalent, as well as experience in medical education, clinical research, or management.
