About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant Primary School in Boston. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Class Teacher in promoting the acquisition of learning goals for all pupils in KS1 and KS2.

Your key responsibilities will include general classroom support, facilitating learning through play, and small group interventions for pupils requiring additional help. You will work closely with the Class Teacher to ensure that all learners receive focused support to achieve excellent progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general classroom support for all pupils in KS1 and KS2
  • Facilitate learning through play and small group interventions for pupils requiring additional help
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to promote the acquisition of learning goals
  • Support the development of pupils' skills and knowledge in a variety of subjects
Person Specification
  • Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years
  • Ability to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
  • Organised and reliable
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process a new one
