Cygnet Health Care is seeking an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Sherwood in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Take lead responsibility for patient treatment plans, ensuring effective and safe care
- Assess referrals, conduct mental state examinations, and develop treatment plans
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise reports for Mental Health Act tribunals and managers hearings
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance and risk management strategies
- Competitive salary up to £160,000 per annum, depending on experience
- £10,000 welcome bonus
- Up to £8,000 relocation package

- Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- A member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) or equivalent
