Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our VOD Content Operations team as a Junior VOD Content Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the timely delivery of programme and film content to various VOD platforms, meeting contractual obligations and content management objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate the delivery of programme and film content to Channel 4 Streaming, TV, and secondary sales platforms.
  • Ensure timely delivery of subtitles and audio description, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Manage transcode and delivery volumes via our online service provider, and coordinate late deliveries to ensure content is delivered as quickly as possible.
  • Perform daily platform surfacing checks for content and access services, and liaise with internal teams such as VOD Planning, VOD Rights, and Programme Management.
  • Provide content schedules to 3rd party platforms and internal stakeholders, and field internal and external inquiries and follow up as necessary.
  • Action urgent content revokes, ensuring content is taken down in a timely manner, and field post-delivery viewer queries around video, metadata, image, subtitle, and AD issues.
Essential Experience and Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and think outside the box.
  • Strong attention to detail, with experience in operational coordination and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, and a high level of communication and customer service regarding content deadlines.
Hybrid Working

Channel 4 operates a 60/40 working pattern, with three office days per week, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. Employees can choose to work from home or the office, depending on their needs and preferences.
