Position Overview
Clifton Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated Nurse Associate to enhance our team within the Primary Care Network (PCN). This role is essential in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Associate will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality, compassionate care while performing specific clinical tasks under the guidance of a registered nurse.
- Delivering holistic and person-centered care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conducting routine care in alignment with clinical evidence and established guidelines.
- Administering wound care and other clinical procedures as necessary.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery.
- Enhancing safety and quality of care at every opportunity.
- Engaging in continuous professional development to improve clinical competence.
- Supporting the training and supervision of new nursing associates and healthcare assistants.
- Maintaining accurate patient health records and ensuring proper documentation.
- Participating in public health initiatives and health promotion activities.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Registered as a nursing associate with the NMC.
- Completion of a two-year Foundation Degree from an NMC-approved institution.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and revalidation as per NMC standards.
Desirable:
- Experience in a primary care setting.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to healthcare.
