About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our team at Tate. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in leading the preparation of annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts, as well as being responsible for the end-to-end monthly financial close process for the division in your remit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to executive management.
  • Financial Close Process: Oversee the end-to-end monthly financial close process for the division in your remit, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Financial Insights and Reporting: Present financial variances and insights to executive management, providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Expense Management: Conduct monthly expense review meetings with budget holders, ensuring expenses are in line with budget/forecast and challenging expense commitments when required.
  • External Audit Support: Participate in the annual external audit process by preparing necessary documentation and data.
  • Process Improvement: Review effectiveness of systems and processes, making recommendations for future developments and improvements.
  • Team Support: Support Finance Analysts, act as a role model, providing guidance and feedback to aid their professional development.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Knowledge, understanding or exposure to core principles of Accounting.
  • Professional Qualifications: Part-Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
  • Management Accounting Experience: Management accounting experience is desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, notably Excel.
