Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Cardiology

The Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases team at Great Ormond Street Hospital is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our team. We require someone with cardiac nursing experience to work alongside a dedicated team of clinical nurse specialists.

The ICVD Team manages an increasing caseload of children and young people affected by inherited cardiomyopathies, inherited arrhythmias, and inherited aortopathies. We also run a screening program for patients at high risk due to family history. The majority of our workload is outpatient-based with clinics running daily; we also support our patients at home, in the community, and during inpatient admissions.

The Centre for Inherited Cardiovascular Disease is a multidisciplinary service specializing in the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of young people with inherited cardiac conditions. The unit is staffed by a team of paediatric and adult cardiologists, electrophysiologists, clinical nurse specialists, genetic counsellors, cardiac technicians, clinical psychologists, and administrative support staff.
