The Clinical Fellow in Paediatric CMR will undertake a 3-month course in CMR, including daily lectures and interactive reporting sessions. Once complete, they will report paediatric congenital and non-congenital scans under the supervision of the paediatric CMR consultant. They will also support the organisation of CMR scans to be performed under general anaesthetic and contribute to audit and research projects in CMR.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completion of the CMR course and daily lectures
  • Attendance at interactive reporting sessions
  • Reporting paediatric congenital and non-congenital scans
  • Supporting the organisation of CMR scans under general anaesthetic
  • Contributing to audit and research projects
Qualifications and experience

The successful candidate will be a GMC registered doctor with a licence to practise and a minimum of three years’ experience in paediatric cardiology. They will have MRCP or equivalent and a strong desire to pursue specialist training in CMR.
