About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Order Administrator to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a Sales Order Administrator, you will play a critical part in processing customer contractual data into our SAP financial system, providing accurate sales and financial reporting to key business areas.

This is an office-based role with flexibility for hybrid home-based working (around 2 days per week). You will be working within the Sales Order & Disputes Management Team, engaging effectively with Sales, Legal, and Delivery teams to ensure correct customer information is included.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Processing: Review and validate order documentation submitted by sales teams, processing accurate customer order details into SAP in a timely and efficient manner, meeting month-end deadlines.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Actively pick up and process billing tasks submitted by delivery teams, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage effectively with sales, legal, and delivery teams to ensure correct customer information is included, and respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform additional SOP team tasks and responsibilities, including acknowledging customer orders, and supporting all business areas as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced, admin role, with a good standard of IT skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills: Excellent Excel skills, including demonstrable experience with lookups, pivot tables, and data connections. Experience working with Google, CRM, and SharePoint would be advantageous.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to grasp concepts quickly, work independently within a framework, and manage a varied workload and time effectively.
