We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Claimont Health LTD. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide person-centred care to clients in the comfort of their own homes, working collaboratively with families and carers to support their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients with mental health needs, including those with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Personality Disorder.
- Work collaboratively with families and carers to understand mental health and develop effective coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client treatment and progress, adhering to management policies and protocols.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture.
- Adhere to Claimont's Health and Safety Policy, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for clients and colleagues.
- Minimum 12 months experience working in mental health care, preferably with ABI and Personality Disorder populations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Current, clean, full car driving licence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build trust and rapport with clients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team, with flexibility and adaptability in a pressurised environment.
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.
