Our client, a well-established family-owned enterprise since the 1980s, is expanding their workforce and is in search of a motivated 1st/2nd Line IT Engineer. This role involves providing essential support to their internal user community and contributing to ongoing and upcoming IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1st and 2nd Line IT Support to an internal user base exceeding 200 individuals.
- Log, assess, and resolve incoming support tickets efficiently.
- Assemble, maintain, and install hardware throughout the organization.
- Provide software support, including installation and troubleshooting.
- Manage user accounts, granting access and permissions as required.
- Ensure the smooth operation of all IT equipment.
- Oversee asset management, keeping records current and accurate.
Technical Expertise Required:
- Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure Entra ID.
- Familiarity with Office applications such as SharePoint, PowerShell, and Intune.
- Knowledge of Exchange.
- Experience with virtual servers is advantageous but not mandatory.
