Themis Recruit is seeking a dedicated Debt Recovery Specialist to join our esteemed client's Costs Team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and recovering legal fees and disbursements. Your expertise in debt recovery enforcement proceedings will be instrumental in ensuring timely and efficient resolution of outstanding claims.

Your Responsibilities
  • Credit Control: Effectively manage and negotiate associated legal fees and expenses, striving for amicable resolutions with clients.
  • Legal Applications: Proficiently issue Part 8 proceedings and prepare necessary court applications, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the relevant legal procedures.
  • Documentation: Accurately prepare N260 schedules, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Liaison: Collaborate seamlessly with external enforcement officers and bailiffs, coordinating efforts to secure successful debt recovery.
  • Additional Duties: Embrace a proactive approach by undertaking any ad hoc or additional duties as required, contributing to the smooth operation of the team.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Possess some understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, ensuring compliance with relevant legal guidelines.
