Your primary focus will be on driving performance improvements, enhancing systems and processes, and providing financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop the Finance team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to excel in their roles.
- Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and planning process, collaborating with department heads to build a comprehensive financial strategy.
- Ensure the company's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.
- Develop and present financial models, analysis, and findings to the executive team, informing strategic decisions.
- Participate in business strategy development, providing financial expertise and insights.
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly and weekly business performance reports, including rolling forecasts and variance reporting.
- Work closely with stakeholders to report key KPIs in a timely manner.
- Cash and currency management, including day-to-day contact with banks.
- Develop and refine management accounting and reporting, including KPIs and business analysis.
- Prepare draft annual accounts, working paper files, and consolidate financial statements, supporting the statutory audit.
- Collaborate with external financial advisers and ensure the company's financial framework operates within statutory legislation.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
- Advanced knowledge of MS applications, including Excel and Access.
- Ability to communicate effectively with financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business.
- Experience in inventory planning and stock control.
