Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Development Manager to join our R&D team at Sepura Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and managing a talented team of Software Engineers to deliver innovative solutions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Software Engineers to deliver software development projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement software development strategies and roadmaps to align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software development with other business functions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts to ensure financial stability.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in software development to ensure the team remains competitive.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within software development, including leading a number of functional teams operating in different software domains.
  • Software architecture and development background with extensive experience in embedded systems (RTOS, Linux, Android).
  • Thorough understanding of software development processes and tools, including version/configuration management, programming languages (C/C++, Java, Kotlin, C#), and Agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Experience with mentoring, coaching, performance management, technical arbitration, workforce and resource planning, and developing KPIs.
