About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Cloud Software Group, working on the development of XenServer interfaces. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces for our XenServer virtualization platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop user interfaces for XenServer, ensuring a high level of performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the XenServer SDKs, written in various programming languages.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies, working closely with customers, partners, and other Cloud Software Group teams.
  • Contribute to the design and build of cross-team features, and participate in other cross-team initiatives.
  • Work on day-to-day issue triage and code maintenance, ensuring the stability and security of our software.
  • Input into future product requirements for XenServer, driving innovation and growth.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of programming languages, including procedural languages (e.g., C# or Java) and scripting languages (e.g. Python).
  • Passion for user-interface design and development, with a focus on creating high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Desire for excellence in terms of performance, reliability, and usability, as well as functional correctness.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree, preferably in software engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Server virtualization experience, particularly with Xen or XenServer.
  • Knowledge of Scrum or other agile development practices.
