About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team working on XenServer Interfaces. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the user interface for XenServer, a commercial virtualization platform based on the open-source Xen hypervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software applications, including user interfaces and backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build features and products.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to the design and build of cross-team features.
  • Work on the development of multi-person, cross-team features and interact with customers, partners, and other Cloud Software Group teams.
  • Contribute to the design and build of cross-team features and participate in other cross-team initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of programming languages, including procedural languages (e.g., C# or Java) and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Passion for user-interface design and development.
  • Desire for excellence in terms of performance, reliability, and usability, as well as functional correctness.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree, preferably in software engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
