About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team working on XenServer Interfaces. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the user interface for XenCenter, a Windows application that provides a user-friendly interface for managing and monitoring XenServer resource pools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the user interface for XenCenter, ensuring a high level of performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Contribute to the design and build of cross-team features, participating in agile development methodologies.
  • Work closely with other teams to develop multi-person, cross-team features, interacting with customers, partners, and other Cloud Software Group teams.
  • Develop and maintain code-bases for building XenServer SDKs, written in various programming languages.
  • Participate in issue triage and code maintenance, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of programming languages, including procedural languages (e.g., C# or Java) and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Passion for user-interface design and development, with a focus on creating high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Desire for excellence in terms of performance, reliability, and usability, as well as functional correctness.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in software engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Server virtualization experience, particularly with Xen or XenServer.
  • Experience with agile development practices, such as Scrum.
