About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graduate Chemist to join our team at Biosynth, a leading life sciences reagents, custom synthesis, and manufacturing services company. As a key member of our research and development team, you will play a critical role in executing lab work, contributing to project development, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute lab work following provided synthetic routes and contribute to project development
  • Design and develop chemistry for custom synthesis projects
  • Work efficiently in the laboratory to meet project deadlines
  • Carry out characterisation and data analysis
  • Perform all laboratory work in a safe manner and comply with all regulations and company policies
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Graduate Chemist with a strong background in synthetic chemistry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a wide range of synthetic chemistry, with experience in carbohydrate, nucleoside, or related research. Process chemistry experience and experience of 20 ltr scale chemistry process are highly desirable.
