We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graduate Chemist to join our team at Biosynth, a leading life sciences reagents, custom synthesis, and manufacturing services company. As a key member of our research and development team, you will play a crucial role in executing laboratory work, contributing to project development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Execute laboratory work following provided synthetic routes and contribute to project development
- Design and develop chemistry for custom synthesis projects
- Work efficiently in the laboratory to meet project deadlines
- Carry out characterisation and data analysis
- Perform all laboratory work in a safe manner and comply with regulations and company policies
- MSc or PhD in Chemistry with industry experience in large-scale manufacturing
- Proven record in a wide range of synthetic chemistry
- Experience in carbohydrate, nucleoside, or related research is an advantage
- Experience in process development for large-scale manufacturing, ideally with experience of 20 ltr scale chemistry process
