Catch22 is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of young people, helping them to gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their academic and personal lives.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Students: Work with small groups of pupils, assisting them in completing activities set by the teacher and ensuring they stay on task.
- Behavioural and Special Needs Support: Collaborate with the teacher to address behavioural and special needs issues, providing individualized support to students.
- Delivering SEN Interventions: Implement specialized interventions to support students with special educational needs.
- Lesson Planning and Assessment: Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons, providing feedback to students and supporting assessment and testing.
- Qualifications: Hold a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (minimum).
- Knowledge and Experience: Possess knowledge of statutory requirements in health and safety, SEN, and child safeguarding. Have experience working with students with complex needs, including language difficulties or other special educational needs.
- Behaviour Management: Demonstrate effective behaviour management strategies and a determination to raise the levels of achievement of students.
