About This Role:

Ripple Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team of educators in the North East. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education to pupils in our primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children
  • Support school staff to facilitate active participation of children in academic and social activities
  • Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
  • Implement daily routines and plan age-appropriate activities with other staff
  • Assist with personal care and regularly evaluate children's development
  • Liaise with parents/carers as directed by the class teacher

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 2 references
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant/Level 6 Qualification (Degree)
  • Experience working in a primary school
