About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Manager - Technical Sales to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing and growing a realistic pipeline of business from existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to identify and recommend automation and robotic solutions that meet their current and future needs.
  • Create and maintain sales analysis sheets for each enquiry received and provide regular updates to the sales team.
  • Prepare and submit financially viable and commercially beneficial quotations for enquiries and review internally prior to sending to customers.
  • Understand budgetary and timescale requirements for each enquiry and communicate regularly with customers throughout the life of the enquiry.
  • Set up sales handover meetings to transfer details of the order to the technical team and support the project team and customer throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements
  • Previous sales and account management experience gained through working with automation systems, ideally within the automotive sector.
  • Qualification to at least HND level or above in a relevant engineering or business-related discipline.
  • Ability to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and a self-motivated and organised approach to making the best use of your time.
