Position: Warehouse Sanitation Specialist

Shift Hours:
9.30am to 6pm

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Sanitation Specialist to maintain a clean and organized environment within our logistics facility. This role involves reporting directly to the Facilities Supervisor and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wood Recycling: Manage the removal of unused wood and damaged pallets, ensuring containers are monitored and emptied as needed.
  • Plastic Recycling: Oversee the disposal and recycling of plastic materials within the warehouse.
  • Box Management: Remove empty boxes from various locations, recycle unusable ones, and restock with usable boxes.
  • Aisle Maintenance: Keep all aisles clean and organized.
  • Floor Cleaning: Utilize floor washing equipment to maintain cleanliness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and management to suggest improvements and contribute to recycling initiatives.
  • Canteen Support: Assist the cleaning team in maintaining a tidy canteen area.
  • Waste Management: Ensure rubbish is removed and bins are emptied regularly.
  • Pallet Management: Handle the removal of unused pallets and other materials.
  • Machine Maintenance: Participate in machine upkeep (training will be provided).
  • Equipment Cleaning: Keep all machinery clean and free from debris.

Training & Experience:
  • Prior experience in warehouse cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Forklift licenses (Reach, Counter Balance, Bend-truck, Aisle Mast) are beneficial; training and licenses are available.
