Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Cleaning Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized environment within our warehouse. Reporting directly to the Facilities Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wood Recycling: Efficiently remove unused wood and damaged pallets, monitor container fill levels, and arrange for timely disposal.
  • Plastic Recycling: Safely transport plastic waste for recycling or proper disposal.
  • Box Management: Clear empty boxes from designated areas, recycle unusable ones, and ensure the replenishment of usable boxes.
  • Aisle Maintenance: Keep aisles clean and orderly.
  • Floor Cleaning: Operate floor washing equipment to maintain cleanliness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and management to identify and implement improvements in recycling practices.
  • Canteen Support: Assist the cleaning team in maintaining a tidy canteen area.
  • Waste Management: Regularly remove rubbish and empty bins.
  • Pallet Management: Dispose of unused pallets and other materials.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Participate in machine upkeep (training provided).
  • Debris Removal: Ensure machinery is kept clean and free from debris.

Training & Experience:
  • Previous warehouse cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Forklift licenses (Reach, Counterbalance, Bend-truck, Aisle Mast) are advantageous.
  • Licenses and training opportunities are available.
