The Role of Store Manager
The Store Manager plays a critical role in the success of our stores, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and lead a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure that the store is merchandised and maintained to the highest standards, with a focus on visual displays and product availability.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory management and stock control.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the wider Wickes team to share best practices and drive business improvement.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager who has a proven track record of success in a retail environment. The ideal candidate will have:
