Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Specialist to join our team at iXceed Solutions. As a key member of our Retail department, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our convenience store strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement category management plans, including floor plans, price positioning, and category roles.
  • Analyze sales, costs, and margins of products to inform strategic decisions.
  • Negotiate and implement promotions with vendors to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute planogram optimization plans to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Manage category information systems, including spaceman and similar software.
  • Analyze market research information to inform category management decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in category management and merchandising.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and retail merchandising fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
