About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Harrods. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for the operation and organization of one of our most popular restaurant kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set daily production levels and guidelines for the kitchen team
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members
  • Develop and implement effective management strategies to drive kitchen efficiency and productivity
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with support functions, including Food Halls, Restaurants, Food Safety, Distribution, Store Services, and HR

Requirements:

  • Strong track record of hospitality experience, preferably in a high-end dining environment
  • Excellent time-management skills and a strong customer focus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good PC literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and SAP

What We Offer:

  • Competitive annual salary, including a generous base salary and service charge
  • Set contracted hours (45 per week) with paid additional working hours at an overtime rate of x1.5 p/h
