About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our award-winning Production Kitchen team at Harrods. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the production kitchen brigade, ensuring that our world-class food halls and deli counters are stocked with high-quality products ready for our customers to take away and serve at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the production kitchen brigade and assist the Head Chef in all managerial duties
  • Set daily production levels, monitor goods received from internal and external vendors, and ensure quality standards are met
  • Manage the day-to-day administration and production, ensuring compliance to internal systems, including SAP
  • Plan production levels to minimize wastage and ensure stock checks are completed in a timely manner
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and procedures, setting a high standard of food safety in daily operations
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record of hospitality experience, preferably within a 5* hotel, high-end restaurant, or cruise ship kitchen. A fantastic knowledge and passion for food and drink are essential, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail. Experience in managing a big team would be advantageous, and good PC literacy is a must (Word, Excel, and preferably SAP).
