About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our award-winning pastry team at Harrods. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading your team to ensure a correct and professional operation within the Kitchens at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting daily production levels and monitoring goods received from internal and external vendors and production
  • Ensuring quality standards are met and managing the day-to-day administration and production
  • Complying with internal systems, including SAP and QADEX, and maintaining effective storage and ordering of food stock
  • Planning production levels to minimize wastage and ensuring timely stock checks
  • Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and procedures to maintain a high standard of food safety

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record working in fine patisserie, preferably in a 5* luxury hotel, high-end patisserie, or similar environment. You should have experience managing large brigades and a great knowledge and passion for food and drink. Excellent time-management skills and a strong customer focus are essential, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail.
