**Job Summary**

Plus One Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our client's team in Banbury. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating 2D drawings and assembly instructions from 3D models provided by the engineering team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Utilize SolidWorks software to create 2D drawings and assembly instructions from 3D models.
  • Collaborate with site engineers to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in the drawings.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SolidWorks software and drafting practices.
  • Potentially responsible for creating clear and concise work instructions for assembly teams in the UK and USA.

**Requirements:**

  • ONC, NVQ Level 3, or HNC in Mechanical Design Engineering.
  • Adherence to company health and safety policies.
  • Maintenance of a clean and organized workspace.
  • Contribution to the company's continuous development of processes.
  • Proficiency in using CAD Systems to produce 2D and 3D outputs.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills with attention to detail.

**Working Hours:**

40 hours per week, with occasional additional hours as required.
