We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Willing Care. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a positive role model, providing effective supervision and guidance to the care team.
- Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and visitors, ensuring a positive and respectful environment.
- Implement individual care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed.
- Provide practical support and responsive care to residents who require assistance with personal care needs.
- Monitor and document the wellbeing of residents, ensuring any changes are referred and addressed.
- Develop and maintain a good professional relationship with residents, colleagues, and visitors.
- Administer medication to residents, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Level 3 Health and Social Care or above.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
- Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge.
- Live within 30 minutes of the care home.
- Performance-related pay increases.
