**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our team at Firstbus Careers. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults, including electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance, including inspections and repairs.
  • Attend to on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
  • Conduct vehicle road testing to identify specific defects or issues.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to optimize vehicle performance and reduce downtime.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a focus on vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
