About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Homelessness Support Worker to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with young people who are at risk of or have been homeless, providing high-quality support to help them develop independent living skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted support to young people to help them develop independent living skills, including accommodation needs, financial management, and health and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with the team to provide a non-judgmental and supportive environment for young people to thrive.
  • Monitor and record the progress of the young people you support, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Coach and train the team of Accommodation Support Workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality support.
  • Understand the needs and issues facing young people, including homelessness, and develop strategies to address these.
