Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, adapting lesson plans and strategies to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective support system for students.
- Monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing targeted interventions to promote growth and development.
- Work closely with parents and guardians to ensure a nurturing and supportive environment for students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and patient approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of National Curriculum and special educational needs legislation.
