Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Councils in fulfilling their responsibilities regarding Assets of Community Value (ACV) and Community Right to Bid with minimal oversight.
  • Serve as the primary contact and communicate with competing parties to oversee ACV nominations across various Authorities while ensuring impartiality throughout the process.
  • Evaluate and verify ACV nominations to confirm adherence to legal standards and criteria.
  • Offer advice and assistance to communities contemplating or preparing ACV nominations.
  • Oversee the ACV nomination process, which includes public consultations and decision-making procedures.

What You Will Need:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Experience in community involvement and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prior experience in local government is preferred.
