We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to join our Smart Grid team at Ecotricity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the technical integration of flexible assets into our Ecotricity Smart Grid VPP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to establish EcoLink connections and integrate assets into the VPP.
  • Advise the VPP Growth Officer on prospective assets and their alignment with Ancillary Service needs.
  • Understand and advise on technical requirements for National Grid ancillary services and develop methods of control and monitoring.
  • Engage with the Development team to develop service requirements and maintain accurate asset state data.
  • Maintain records of asset details, including site locations, SIM card numbers, and IP addresses.
  • Research and assess emerging flexible technologies and potential new services from National Grid and Distribution Network Operators.
Requirements:
  • Strong report writing ability and excellent MS Excel, Word, and Visio skills.
