Job Opportunity: Resettlement and Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resettlement and Support Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing hostel-based services and coordinating support to individuals experiencing homelessness with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and support services to individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to help individuals achieve their goals
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Participate in on-call rota to provide 24/7 support

Requirements

  • Relevant experience working with homeless individuals or rough sleepers
  • Understanding of the causes and pathways out of homelessness
  • Experience with assessment and support systems for vulnerable populations
  • Ability to work with clients who may display challenging behavior
  • Basic knowledge of relevant legislation and health and safety requirements
  • Strong IT skills and ability to represent the organization professionally
