Director of Structured Credit Solutions

Position Overview
The Associate Director of Structured Credit Sales is responsible for enhancing the bank's connections with clients through effective marketing and sales of financial market offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster relationships with clients to promote and sell financial market products.
- Proactively seek opportunities for cross-selling and leverage our unique network.
- Encourage collaboration across various asset classes and borders to optimize client service and profitability.
- Engage with clients alongside Relationship Managers and other sales, research, and trading colleagues to thoroughly understand each client's business requirements.
- Formulate a strategic engagement plan tailored to meet client needs and identify new clients for financial market products, with a focus on origination, particularly in securitization and structured financing.
- Build strong working relationships with key industry banking teams to support origination efforts, including sectors such as FISG, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate Finance, Aviation & Ship Finance, and Trade Finance.
- Develop connections with key decision-makers at client organizations through outreach, meetings, and the provision of relevant insights to become a vital resource in their decision-making processes regarding financial market instruments.
Operational Duties
- Coordinate with clients to execute trades and orders in compliance with the bank's policies and procedures.
- Ensure the establishment of appropriate frameworks and operational infrastructures to maintain efficient and compliant business processes.
- Monitor client trading limits and secure necessary approvals for any anticipated excesses arising from transactions.
- Deliver exceptional service to strengthen financial market relationships.
- Oversee the global financial market relationship for key clients, collaborating with Relationship Managers and product specialists across regions to enhance the global franchise.
- Maintain an updated account plan for financial market products for each client, identifying growth opportunities and creating action plans accordingly.
- Engage proactively with clients, providing timely market intelligence and responding efficiently to inquiries.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of service delivery within financial markets, including support functions like operations.
- Assist in establishing the necessary infrastructure for effective trading operations.
- Drive key financial market themes and initiatives, ensuring alignment with risk management strategies.
- Achieve the annual budget for client income from assigned clients, focusing on generating income from asset-backed solutions, project financing, and other relevant areas.
- Collaborate with financial market structuring teams to provide optimal risk solutions for clients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in ABS and CLO sales or broking is essential for immediate impact.
- Strong understanding of the global securitized products market, particularly in the US.
- Sales-oriented personality with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a proven ability to work across cultures in a dynamic environment.
