About the Role:

Fitch Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Analyst to join our Structured Finance team in London. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining existing ratings and assigning ratings to new structured finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modelling to provide high-quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants.
  • Review transaction legal documents to ensure compliance with Fitch's rating criteria.
  • Conduct on-site reviews of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managers.
  • Prepare rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees.
  • Communicate rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetings.
  • Communicate with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of the transactions.
  • Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in finance, with a strong understanding of securitisation structures and CLOs.
  • Highly numerate and analytical, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to review and analyse legal contracts from a credit risk perspective.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex credit opinions to investors and other market participants.
  • Other European languages are desirable.
