Job Title: Structured Finance Credit Analyst

Fitch Solutions is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our Structured Finance team in London.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual to support our team in maintaining existing ratings and assigning ratings to new structured finance transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing transactions in line with Fitch's rating criteria and providing high-quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modelling
  • Review transaction legal documents
  • On-site review of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managers
  • Prepare rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees
  • Communicate rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetings
  • Communicate with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of the transactions
  • Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research
Requirements:
  • Highly motivated and analytical individual with prior experience in finance
  • Knowledge of securitisation structures and in particular CLOs would be beneficial
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to review and analyse legal contracts from a credit risk perspective
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Other European languages are desirable
