Structured Finance is currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join our European Structured Credit team.

As part of Fitch's European Structured Finance team, you will maintain existing ratings and assign ratings to new structured finance transactions. The team analyses transactions in line with Fitch's rating criteria and provides high quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modelling for complex transactions.
  • Review and analyse transaction legal documents to ensure compliance with Fitch's rating criteria.
  • Conduct on-site reviews of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managers.
  • Prepare rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees.
  • Communicate rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of the transactions.
  • Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research for structured finance transactions.

What We're Looking for:

  • Highly motivated and analytical individuals with prior experience in finance.
  • Knowledge of securitisation structures and in particular CLOs is beneficial.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with other European languages desirable.
