Exciting Opportunity: Director - Credit Risk, Structured Finance
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Credit Risk team at Aviva Investors Real Asset. As a Director, you will play a crucial role in supporting the origination and monitoring of private debt assets.
About the Role:
- Contribute to the oversight of new originations and existing portfolio assets, ensuring alignment with our investment strategy.
- Provide expert credit risk opinions and analysis on new private debt assets, leveraging your knowledge of corporate debt and structured finance.
- Participate in client/stakeholder meetings to explain risk drivers and provide strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the integrity of our investment portfolio.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes, applying your expertise to inform investment decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in risk management, credit analysis, and debt origination, preferably in the private debt or structured finance space.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Knowledge of rating methodologies and risk assessment, with a focus on corporate credit and structured finance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
