Key Responsibilities- Lead a wide range of audits covering operational and conduct risk reviews, including Consumer Duty requirements, Mortgage Lending, Savings account customer journeys, and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting.
- Deliver project assurance work in areas such as Savings and Financial Advice propositions.
- Coach, support, and develop other colleagues in the Group Internal Audit Team.
- Work closely with other colleagues in the Group Internal Audit Team to understand key risks and assess how they are managed.
- Play a key role in shaping the future strategy and direction of the Group Internal Audit Team.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in Banking/Financial Services Internal Audit, with demonstrable experience and subject matter expertise in Conduct & Operational risk.
- A proven ability to lead on multiple complex and sometimes challenging assignments simultaneously with limited direction and supervision.
- Have or are obtaining a relevant Internal Audit certification or qualification (e.g., Certified or Chartered Internal Audit Qualification, ACCA, ACA).
- A competitive annual discretionary bonus scheme.
