Position Overview

Community Nursing Specialist - 2 positions available, working up to 75 hours per week.

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Band 5 Community Nursing Specialist within the Carlisle Network Community Nursing Team. The successful candidates will integrate into our dynamic Community Team, contributing to the evolving Integrated Care Community (ICC) of the Carlisle & District area, primarily serving the local population.

Key Responsibilities

This role demands the ability to showcase the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality care for patients with complex needs in a community environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated registered nurses eager to enhance their clinical skills and expertise in patient care. You will collaborate closely with health and social care professionals to prevent hospital admissions, facilitate discharges, and promote independence through effective management of long-term conditions.

We offer a tailored preceptorship program for experienced nurses to support their professional development.

Consideration for flexible working arrangements will be evaluated on an individual basis. Daily working hours are scheduled between 8:30 AM and 11:00 PM.

Preceptorship Program

The Trust offers a twelve-month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.

Healthcare professionals returning to practice or transitioning into new roles may also access an agreed preceptorship period.
