Job Title: Category Marketing Manager
About Salt: Salt is a leading FMCG company with a strong market presence in their category and plans to double the size of their European office in the next 5 years.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Category Marketing Manager to lead our Category team, consisting of 4 direct reports. The successful candidate will have a strong background in FMCG Category Management, team management experience, and a solid marketing foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Oversee Category Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive Category strategy, identifying areas for growth and potential risks.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Market Intelligence: Work with the broader team to gather and analyze market intelligence, understanding consumer preferences and the competitive landscape.
- Marketing Campaigns: Partner with the Brand and Marketing team to design and execute marketing campaigns and promotions for new products, driving business growth and revenue.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Category Manager in FMCG.
- Strong marketing background with a focus on category management.
- Team management experience, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
- Strong influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
